| Tidying up makes such a mess! Ok, it's really a re-org, because now I have boxes to put things in rather than haphazardly shoving them shelfwards. I hope I put all the crap at the bottom. If I don't take anything out of those boxes under boxes by year end, wholesale dumping will ensue, except for the cards and games, which will probably remain untouched for years. (Actually, if they can get Nationals in Belfast next year I'll go. And even play and everything.) I also got tins and shoe boxes and a little chest for my makeup, but I need a hammer and screwdriver for that so it'll remain in the box for now. IKEA sucks money. Oh I need a parmesan shaver. And some wine glasses. And tiny useless side plates. A clock. Vases.... They saw me coming. I left rugless though which was disappointing. So hopefully once I'm done everything will have a place to be put, in a stackable thing. It's going to be better in here. Except for the shoebox towers.

Not even a Welcome to Co. Down/Fáilte go dtí An Lú (or is it An Mhí? Meath is is a different place to where I thought it was, or has a funky coastal finger). There's a sign that says Police, then 200m up the road the similar sign says Gardaí and that's it. That's how you know you've been to a different state.
Other than IKEA I bought scarves (I now feel naked without a scarf, I have loads) and a pair of boots that is, in fact, too big. They are too big. They were otherwise perfect in a way of the magical boots I have in my head but don't exist kind of perfect. I'm afraid to try them with insoles in case it's just not feasible, as I'd then have to try return them down here in some kind of awkward fashion, though I'd also need to find the receipt that I subconciously threw somewhere because I want to keep them so much. I never do this kind of thing. Ok, one Louboutin is possibly a teeny tiny bit tight, but there was no way I was leaving them behind, and they're wearable.
Have a driving practise session Saturday. The biggest car I've already driven so far is a Yaris. This will be in an 05 BMW 320d. However, the owner is determined to help so I'm going to give it a go. Bonus is that he's completely used to my EPIC tantrums so won't freak out when I lose the head :) (otherwise, the tantrum thing is mortifying, both the having of and that he's seen it enough to know when it's serious and calm me down either way but it is what it is) | | comments: 8 comments or Leave a comment |

| I'm going to proactively replace "my" 15GB iPod gen 2 before it dies on me. I'll do this in the States in September. There's only about 13GB of music on it, and about 2GB of that is crap inherited from ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) lordkilljoy (no offence like). However, I'm torn: the 8GB Nano is $199 but the 80GB Classic is only $50 more expensive. Does it make more sense to get the bigger one? I only use the iPod on the train and so on as I have a shuffle for walking around.
An alternative to the iPod is very unlikely - it took me this long to get used to this one, I don't think I can face using something else without very compelling reasons. | Anyone have any email address for Play that is actually usable? I ordered ER s10, they sent me Football Factory. I applied for a return and replacement (allegedly ER is in the post). They said return the incorrect item and they'll refund me the postage, from what I can tell. I got a €3 refund. The cost of postage is €7.85. The incorrect item is €6.99. I can find no way of contacting them on the site, to confirm I'll get my €4.85 before I post it.
Anyone been in a similar position?
